What is a Colorectal Surgeon?
Although a General Surgeon, a Colorectal Surgeon will have a subspecialty interest in colorectal disease. This comprises conditions of the Colon (Large bowel), Rectum and Anal Canal as well as the Small Intestine. Across these anatomical areas a wide range of pathological conditions can be found both benign and malignant. These include:

- Haemorrhoids (Piles)
